JDCM photographs people, architecture, archeology, sports, and events throughout Greece, Europe, The United States, the Balkan Peninsula and the former Yugoslavia (Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, and Montenegro). He also takes pictures in New York, Pittsburgh, and other parts of the USA. He shoots digital, in color and black and white. he also uses b/w film with rangefinders and SLRs, TLR, large format, medium format b/w film and digital. He is influenced by Joel Meyerowitz, Henri Cartier-Bresson, William Eggleston, Walker Evans, Wright Morris, Alex Webb, Rebecca Norris Webb and many others.
